General Chemical's aluminum paint strippers are used for the removal of e-coat and powder coat from non-ferrous aluminum without adversely affecting the surfaces. Traditional methods of paint removal from aluminum include sanding or abrasive blasting, but these processes can also remove metal, reducing the integrity of the part. Our aluminum paint strippers remove old paint, powder coating, and more by breaking the bond between the substrate and the primer. This causes the paint to lift off the surface, leaving the part intact after the paint remover for aluminum has done its work.
