Stripoxy 8649 is a water-based, PASTE-type paint stripper primarily for aluminum surfaces. Ideal for aluminum wheels where an extended dwell time is required and a heated immersion tank is not available. This paint remover paste requires 30 minutes to 2 hours at room temperatures.

I used it to remove some powder coat from a set of polished aluminium wheels.. it took it off in about 2 hours as it say and did not damage the finish.
