I bought a gallon of this product to strip epoxy e-coat off of some extruded aluminum automotive trim sections that I am testing in my lab. I followed the directions and the product worked better than I expected. The e-coat started sloughing off of the parts after about 20 minutes in the beaker and was completely removed without adversely affecting the aluminum substrate. Highly recommended.
