You simply want to whiten the surface of the carpet; a heavy foam is not desirable. Vacuuming can be performed at the next scheduled vacuuming. No rinsing is required. Rinsing actually defeats the purpose of the encapsulation technology.
Cleaning dilute 4 oz. of Detergent per gallon of hot water.
Spotter/Pre-spraying: In heavily soiled areas pre-spray Detergent mixed at 6 oz. per gal.
Scrub the carpet evenly; a heavy foam build-up is NOT desirable. Just lightly whiten the surface of the carpet. For heavy soil make additional dry scrubbing passes without adding more solution to the carpet.
